Using the index

The Index tab combines the indexes from all of the publications that make up the Documentation Center into a single index.

Before you begin

Filtering must be turned off.

Steps

  1. Click Index to display the index.
    The index is merged when you first request it. It might take a moment or two for the content to be displayed.
  2. Browse for a term.
    • Use the scroll bar to move through the index.
    • Use the browser's text search to look for a particular term.
  3. Click an entry to display the corresponding topic.
    Tip: If two or more topics have matching index entries, the topic titles are displayed below the entry. Click the title to display the topic.
    The topic is displayed, and your position in the index is retained.
