Restore operation might fail if the database size is in terabytes

Description

If the database size is in terabytes (TB), the restore operation might fail when the default timeout values are used.

Corrective action

You must increase the value of the SCORestoreTimeout parameter by running the Set-SmConfigSettings command. The default timeout value is 3 days (4320 minutes). For example, if you want to change timeout value to 4 days, you must run: sccli Set-SmConfigSettings -ConfigSettingsType Server -ConfigSettings "KEY=SCORestoreTimeout,VALUE=5760"

You can also run the Get-SmConfigSettings command to view the value of the SCORestoreTimeout parameter. For example: sccli Get-SmConfigSettings -ConfigSettingsType Server -Key SCORestoreTimeout -ShowDescription
