Server 500 internal error

During a SnapCenter Plug-in for VMware vSphere operation, the vCenter Server timed out while waiting for a response from the SnapCenter server.

This error can occur when a user attaches a disk from a mounted backup and also continues to run backups on that VM with a disk attached. If the backup policy has a Snapmirror/Snapvault option checked, then the backups fail with a warning because the mounted datastore, where the attached disk comes from, is not in a secondary relationship. In addition, a Server 500 error might be displayed on the Attach Virtual Disk Dialog or Guest File Restore GUI.

Error message

500 internal server error

Corrective action

Detach the disk and run the Backup again.
