You must define a StorageGRID Webscale API Gateway Node. This node provides access to the S3 buckets in the grid holding the storage client data and metadata as well as the NAS Bridge configuration data.

Before you begin

You must have the following information:

About this task

NAS Bridge can connect to only one StorageGRID Webscale API Gateway Node at a time.
Attention: When you upgrade StorageGRID Webscale grid nodes, the API Gateway Node for NAS Bridge will be temporarily unavailable. To ensure that NFS and SMB clients can continue to access their data, you must follow these steps to specify and connect to an alternate API Gateway Node before upgrading your primary API Gateway Node.

Steps

  1. Click Configuration at the top of the web page.
  2. Click StorageGRID on the left side of the page.
  3. Type the required configuration information.
    • Host name - IP address or domain name of the API Gateway Node
    • Port - TCP port (8082 by default)
    • Account credentials - Access key and secret key
  4. Click Save.
