Adding a network interface to the virtual machine

Before adding a logical interface to NAS Bridge, you must have an available virtual machine network adapter.

Before you begin

You must be familiar with VMware vSphere and ESXi, and have experience managing virtual machines in this environment.

About this task

If you already have an available virtual network adapter, you do not need to add a new one. But if needed, you can add the network either before the virtual machine has been powered on or when it is running. This task is described at a high level.

Steps

  1. Sign in to the VMware vSphere Web Client.
  2. Locate the NAS Bridge virtual machine.
  3. Edit the virtual machine settings and add a new network.
  4. Click OK.
