Actualizas el NX-OS en tus switches Cisco Nexus 9808 para admitir nuevo hardware o una nueva versión de ONTAP en tu sistema AFX 2K.

Nota NetApp recomienda que primero completes cualquier actualización del software ONTAP y luego realices la actualización del software de tus switches.
Antes de empezar
  • Asegúrate de tener una copia de seguridad actualizada de la configuración del conmutador.

  • Comprueba que tu clúster funcione correctamente, es decir, que no haya errores en los registros ni problemas similares.

Acerca de esta tarea

  • La versión de ONTAP que se ejecuta en tu sistema AFX determina las versiones de NX-OS compatibles con tus switches.

    • Para los switches en un sistema AFX 2K que ejecutan ONTAP 9.19.1GA o posterior, se admite NX-OS 10.6 y posteriores.

    Nota No actualices ni reviertas la versión de NX-OS a una versión no compatible.
  • Dado que este procedimiento requiere el uso de comandos de ONTAP y de comandos de los switches Cisco Nexus 9000 Series, en los pasos se indica qué CLI estás usando para introducir los comandos.

  • Los ejemplos de este procedimiento utilizan la siguiente nomenclatura de interruptores y nodos:

    • Los nombres de los dos switches de Cisco son cs1 y cs2.

    • Los nombres de los nodos son node1-01, node1-02, node1-03 y node1-04.

    • Los nombres del clúster LIF son:

      • node1-01_clus1 y node1-01_clus2 para node1-01

      • node1-02_clus1 y node1-02_clus2 para node1-02

      • node1-03_clus1 y node1-03_clus2 para node1-03

      • node1-04_clus1 y node1-04_clus2 para node1-04

    • El cluster1::*> El indicador muestra el nombre del clúster.

Paso 1: prepárate para actualizar el NX-OS

Prepárate para actualizar el NX-OS asegurándote de que tienes una conexión de red de gestión a cada switch, descargando la versión de NX-OS, comprobando el estado de los puertos en el clúster y desactivando la reversión automática en las LIF del clúster.

Pasos
  1. Conecta cada conmutador a la red de gestión.

  2. Usando la CLI del conmutador, verifica la conectividad con el servidor que aloja el NX-OS.

    ping <IP address>

    Este ejemplo verifica que el switch puede alcanzar el servidor en la dirección IP 172.19.2.1:

  3. Descarga la versión adecuada de NX-OS para los conmutadores desde la "Descarga de software de Cisco" página.

  4. Usando la CLI de ONTAP, muestra los puertos del clúster en cada nodo que están conectados a los switches del clúster:

  6. Mediante la CLI de ONTAP, desactiva la reversión automática en las LIF del clúster. Las LIF del clúster se transfieren al conmutador del clúster asociado y permanecen allí mientras realizas este procedimiento en el conmutador de destino:

    network interface modify -vserver Cluster -lif * -auto-revert false

Paso 2: instalar el NX-OS

Instalas el NX-OS en el primer conmutador (cs1) instalando y comprobando la nueva versión de NX-OS y EPLD, verificando el estado de todos los puertos del clúster y luego repitiendo estos pasos en el segundo conmutador (cs2).

  1. Usando la CLI del switch, copia la imagen de NX-OS y EPLD en un switch.

  8. Repite estos pasos para instalar las imágenes de NX-OS y EPLD en el switch cs2.

Paso 3: completa la actualización de NX-OS

Mediante la CLI de ONTAP, finaliza la actualización de NX-OS volviendo a activar la reversión automática en las LIF del clúster y comprobando que las LIF del clúster hayan vuelto a sus puertos de origen.

  1. Vuelve a activar la reversión automática en las LIF del clúster.

    network interface modify -vserver Cluster -lif * -auto-revert true
  2. Verifique que los LIF del clúster hayan vuelto a su puerto de origen:
