You should install the Plug-in for VMware vSphere from the SnapCenter GUI. If you cannot do so, you can use the command line on a local host to install the Plug-in for VMware vSphere. However, you must also manually register the plug-in with vCenter after the installation is completed.
This method is also used to perform independent, standalone installations of other plug-ins. Although you can install the Plug-in for VMware vSphere by using this method, it is more difficult because you must manually open the link to register the Plug-in for VMware vSphere with vCenter after the installation is completed.
