An alarm is triggered when the value of an attribute reaches an alarm threshold value. When an alarm is triggered, the alarm information is displayed in the StorageGRID Webscale system and a notification is automatically sent to designated personnel.
A change in the value of an attribute can trigger an alarm. A change in the state of a service does not trigger an alarm.
There are five alarm severity levels. Each alarm level is associated with a color and an icon, as shown in the table. The entries are listed in order by severity.
