Reviewing alarms

To troubleshoot the example problem, you need to establish time lines and compare the current situation to baseline system operations. In order to do this, look at current alarms, the alarms history, and plot trends.


  1. Sign in to the Grid Manager using a supported browser.
  2. Select Alarms.
  3. From the Alarms menus, select Current.
    Review any current alarms.
  4. From the Alarms menu, select History.
  5. Select an attribute, and then choose one of the following:
    • Run a Quick Query by selecting one of the quick filtering options:
      • Last 5 Minutes
      • Last Hour
      • Last Day
      • Last Week
      • Last Month
    • Run a Custom Query by entering a specific Start Date and End Date.
  6. Review the History tab, which shows the alarms that were triggered within the time period you selected.
