Description

This message occurs when ONTAP® fails to re-create a previously deleted LIF during an upgrade. The LIF must be re-created manually.

Corrective Action

Attempt the failed command again. If the problem persists, contact NetApp technical support.

Syslog Message

Failed to re-create a LIF during upgrade. Command: "network interface create %s". Reason: %s.

Parameters

command_arguments (STRING): Arguments of the command that failed.
error (STRING): Error that LIF creation encountered.
