When you need to understand what is consuming storage, identify which database tables are growing unchecked, or find directories with overly permissive access, use metadata filters to investigate your data across all connected systems.

Select Investigation in the left navigation to open the view. You can also open the Investigation view from the dashboard by selecting Investigate in the Top data resources by reclaimable storage table, which applies a filter for that resource automatically.

Investigation is organized into three tabs. Select the tab that matches the data type you are investigating.
