User and usergroup overview

The user and usergroup endpoints enable you to create and manage users and user groups.

In BlueXP identity and access management (IAM), a user represents a human user, a service account, or an agent. For example, you can create a user that represents a Connector.

A user group is a set of users that you can manage as a group. In BlueXP IAM, you can manage implicit user groups and explicit user groups. In an implicit user group, users belong to the same organization, project, or folder. In an explicit user group, users can belong to different elements of the resource hierarchy.
