Inventory is primarily an informational and diagnostic workspace. From inventory, you can review systems, volumes, and other storage objects across your fleets and perform common actions such as provisioning storage resources. Provision storage resources

Inventory and alerts
Alerts are generated for specific storage objects and conditions within your environment.
When you select an alert, Console local deployment might direct you to System Manager for additional investigation or management actions. Inventory complements alerts by providing broader visibility into the overall state of your storage environment and managed resources.
