Learn about verified organizations in NetApp Console

Contributors netapp-tonias

A verified organization links your organization in the NetApp Console to your NetApp business account identity (for example, a CMAT ID). This helps the Console apply a consistent organization identity and governance model across NetApp systems.

Why verify your organization

Verifying your organization can help you:

  • Align your Console organization with your NetApp business account identity.

  • Improve consistency for administration, reporting, and support workflows.

  • Reduce ambiguity when your teams work across multiple NetApp services.

  • Support governance controls that depend on a trusted organization identity.

What changes after verification

After your organization is verified:

  • The organization is associated with a NetApp business account identity.

  • The Console can treat that organization identity as authoritative for business-level mapping.

  • Some organization profile changes might be restricted in the Console if they are managed by the source system.

Before you verify

Before you verify your organization, confirm the following:

  • You have the required administrative role for your organization.

  • You have the organization details needed for verification.

  • You have coordinated with your NetApp account team if business-account mapping needs validation.
