Learn how to add a project to your NetApp Kubernetes Service (NKS) account. Projects let you organize workloads and simplify deployment. Each Project is assigned to a single Workspace. Projects can have multiple cluster and any combination of Solutions (including Applications, Trackers, and Packages).

Requirements:

  • An NKS account. If you don’t have one already, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial with no credit card required at https://nks.netapp.io.

  • A cluster created in the desired Workspace.

To begin, click Projects then + Project.

Step 1: Name Your Project

The Kubernetes name will be automatically created, according to Kubernetes naming conventions. Select the Workspace and Cluster you want to use, then click Next to continue.

Step 2: Configure your Project

Customize Project Quotas, Pod Limits, and Container Limits to suit your needs. When you are ready to continue, click Next.

Step 3: Invite Members

By default, the project will use the same roles and permissions as the Workspace to which it is assigned. Click Next.

Step 4: Review and Confirm

Review and confirm all your settings. To change a setting, click the Edit button. When you are sure that everything is correct, click Create Project to create the Project.
