For ONTAP to authenticate with StorageGRID WebScale as the NDAS object store, you need to install a StorageGRID CA certificate on the target cluster.

Before you begin

You must have administrative privileges for StorageGRID Grid Manager.

Steps
  1. Sign in to StorageGRID Grid Manager.

    1. Select Configuration > Grid Options.

    2. From the Grid Options menu, click Overview.

    3. Under CA Certificates, expand CA Certificate.

    4. Select the CA certificate.
Include "-----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----" and "-----END CERTIFICATE-----" in your selection.

    5. Right-click the selected certificate, and then select Copy.

  2. Sign in to the target (secondary) cluster

    1. Install the CA-signed certificate by entering the following command:
      security certificate install -type server-ca

    2. Paste the StorageGRID certificate when you are prompted, and then press Enter.
Note: The fully qualified domain name (FQDN) that you specify must match the custom common name on the StorageGRID CA certificate.
