There are several administrative tasks you can perform as part of managing AFX S3 buckets and client access. S3 configuration and support in AFX is the same as provided with Unified ONTAP. Refer to the Unified ONTAP documentation for details.
It's also important to keep up with the latest changes and updates to ONTAP's support for S3 storage. For example, beginning with ONTAP 9.19.1 you can generate a second access key for each S3 user. This allows you to maintain access to S3 resources if the original access key expires. You can also control conditional operation (write, copy, delete) enforcement.
