Deleting the previously exported VM from the non-ONTAP host

After you have imported the virtual machine (VM) successfully, you can delete the VM from the non-ONTAP host.

The VM must have been imported successfully.

  1. Select the non-ONTAP host on which the VM was originally hosted.

  2. From the Virtual Machines pane, right-click the name of the VM that you exported previously.

  3. Click Delete.

    A window opens, asking that you confirm that you want to delete the VM.

  4. Click Delete.

    The VM is removed from its original host.
