Aggiorni NX-OS sugli switch Cisco Nexus 9808 per supportare nuovo hardware o una nuova versione di ONTAP sul tuo sistema AFX 2K.

Nota NetApp ti consiglia di completare prima qualsiasi aggiornamento del software ONTAP, quindi di eseguire l'aggiornamento del software per gli switch.
Prima di iniziare
  • Assicurati di avere un backup aggiornato della configurazione dello switch.

  • Verifica che il cluster sia perfettamente funzionante, ovvero che non ci siano errori nei log o problemi simili.

  • La versione di ONTAP in esecuzione sul tuo sistema AFX determina le versioni di NX-OS supportate per i tuoi switch.

    • Per gli switch in un sistema AFX 2K, che eseguono ONTAP 9.19.1GA o versioni successive, è supportato NX-OS 10.6 e versioni successive.

    Nota Non eseguire l'aggiornamento o il downgrade della versione di NX-OS a una versione non supportata.

Passaggio 1: Preparati ad aggiornare NX-OS

Preparati ad aggiornare NX-OS assicurandoti di avere una connessione di rete di gestione a ciascuno switch, scaricando la versione di NX-OS, verificando lo stato delle porte sul cluster e disabilitando l'auto-revert sulle LIF del cluster.

Passi
  1. Collega ogni switch alla rete di gestione.

  2. Utilizzando l'interfaccia a riga di comando dello switch, verifica la connettività al server che ospita NX-OS.

    ping <IP address>

  6. Usando la ONTAP CLI, disabilita il ripristino automatico sulle LIF del cluster. Le LIF del cluster eseguono il failover sullo switch del cluster partner e vi rimangono mentre esegui questa procedura sullo switch di destinazione:

    network interface modify -vserver Cluster -lif * -auto-revert false

Passaggio 2: Installa NX-OS

Installi NX-OS sul primo switch (cs1) installando e verificando la nuova versione di NX-OS ed EPLD, verificando l'integrità di tutte le porte del cluster e poi ripetendo questi passaggi sul secondo switch (cs2).

  1. Utilizzando l'interfaccia a riga di comando dello switch, copia l'immagine NX-OS ed EPLD su uno switch.

Passaggio 3: Completa l'aggiornamento di NX-OS

Utilizzando la ONTAP CLI, completa l'aggiornamento di NX-OS riattivando il ripristino automatico sui cluster LIF e verificando che i cluster LIF siano tornati alle loro porte home.

  1. Riattiva il ripristino automatico sulle LIF del cluster.

  2. Verificare che i LIF del cluster siano tornati alla loro porta home:
