Description

This message occurs when a SCSI reservation command has a longer latency than expected during takeover. This delay could cause a system outage in which case the disk should be removed to prevent further problems. .

Corrective Action

If you see this message before an outage on takeover, remove the specified disk.

Syslog Message

The disk reservation command sent to %s has taken longer than expected: %d msecs during takeover.

Parameters

diskName (STRING): Name of the device.
elapsed_time (INT): Number of milliseconds for the command to complete.
