Regenerate the client certificate in Active IQ Unified Manager

You can use the maintenance console to regenerate your Unified Manager client certificate. Your certificate has an extended validity period of five years.

Steps

  1. Log in as the maintenance user.

  2. Select Regenerate Client Certificate and press Enter.

  3. If the system prompts for authentication, enter the required credentials.

  4. Select Confirm Regeneration and press Enter.

  5. After the certificate is regenerated, restart the Unified Manager service to apply the changes.

  6. To verify the updated certificate log in to ONTAP. View the client certificate status and the validity status.
