Create and manage protection groups for Hyper-V workloads with NetApp Backup and Recovery

Apply an updated host time zone to an existing protection group
Scheduled backups use the Hyper-V host's time zone that is recorded when the protection group's schedule is created. If you change the host's time zone, existing protection groups continue to run on their original time zone (typically UTC) until you update their schedules.
|
|
Schedules are only re-created when you modify the protection group name, add or remove a VM, change the assigned policy, or update pre/post scripts. Saving without any changes will not update the schedules. This schedule update is a one-time action per protection group and does not start an immediate backup. |
-
Refresh the Hyper-V host so its current time zone is retrieved.
-
Edit the protection group and change its name to a different value, then save.
Delete a protection group
Deleting a protection group removes it and all associated backup schedules. You might want to delete a protection group if it is no longer needed.

> View details. -
