Enabling periodic AutoSupport

You can choose to have specific, predefined messages sent automatically to technical support to ensure correct operation of your environment, and to assist you in maintaining the integrity of your environment.
Before you begin
You must be logged in as the maintenance user.
About this task
You must activate AutoSupport in order to receive the benefits of NetApp Active IQ.
Steps

In the toolbar, click , and then click AutoSupport from the Setup menu.

Select the Enable Periodic AutoSupport check box.

If required, define the name, port, and authentication information for the HTTP proxy server.

Click Save.
