Availability: This command is available to cluster administrators at the admin privilege level.
Description
The system controller slot module insert
command adds a module on the controller.
Parameters
-node {<nodename>|local}
- Node-
Selects the PCIe modules that are present in the specified node.
-slot <text>
- Slot Number-
Selects the PCIe modules present in the specified slot or slot-subslot combination.
Examples
The following example adds a module in the local node:
p2i030::> system controller slot module insert -node local -slot 1 Warning: IO_CARRIER_NIANTIC_NIC module in slot 1 of node p2i030 will be powered on and initialized. Do you want to continue? {y|n}:y The module has been successfully powered on, initialized and placed into service. p2i030::>
