Modify firewall status
Availability: This command is available to cluster administrators at the admin privilege level.
Description
The system services firewall modify
command modifies a node's firewall configuration.
Parameters
-node {<nodename>|local}
- Node-
Use this parameter to specify the node on which to modify firewall configuration.
[-enabled {true|false}]
- Service Enabled-
Use this parameter to specify whether firewall protection is enabled ("
true
") or disabled ("false
") for the node's network ports. The default setting istrue

- (DEPRECATED)-Enable Logging-
This parameter is deprecated and may be removed in a future version of Data ONTAP. Use this parameter to specify whether logging is enabled ("
true
") or disabled ("false
") for the firewall service. The default setting isfalse

Examples
The following example enables firewall protection and logging for a node named node1:
cluster1::> system services firewall modify -node node1 -enabled true -logging true
