Delete an NTFS security descriptor
Availability: This command is available to cluster and Vserver administrators at the admin privilege level.
Description
The vserver security file-directory ntfs delete
command deletes an NTFS security descriptor. Deleting a security descriptor also deletes all the contained DACL and SACL access control entries (ACEs).
Parameters
-vserver <vserver name>
- Vserver-
Specifies the name of the Vserver that is associated with the security descriptor that you want to delete.
-ntfs-sd <ntfs sd name>
- NTFS Security Descriptor Name-
Specifies the name of the security descriptor to delete.
Examples
The following example deletes an NTFS security descriptor named "sd1" on Vserver vs1.
cluster1::> vserver security file-directory ntfs delete -ntfs-sd sd1 -vserver vs1
