This message occurs when ONTAP® software detects a device with a device descriptor length greater than 40 characters. Such devices are not presented to ONTAP.
- Corrective Action
-
Detach the device from all ONTAP virtual machines, and then delete it. Create a similar device with a descriptor length less than or equal to 40 characters, and then attach it to the ONTAP virtual machines.
