seq.split events
seq.split.with.LUN.create
- Severity
 -
ALERT
 - Description
 -
This message occurs when the SnapMirror Synchronous sequential split is enabled and a LUN create operation is encountered. LUN create operations are blocked since sequential split is meant to be enabled for NAS workloads only. SAN operating workloads experience a higher latency and it is not recommended that they be used with sequential splitting mode.
 - Corrective Action
 -
Switch back to parallel split mode by running the command (priv: advanced) "snapmirror policy modify -policy (policy name) -are-data-ops-sequentially-split false" or opt to use system default policies of Sync and StrictSync for the Snapmirror Synchronous relationship.
 - Syslog Message
 -
LUN create Operation encountered with sequential splitting enabled for relationship with UUID "%s".
 - Parameters
 -
relationship_id (STRING): SnapMirror relationship universal unique identifier (UUID).
