Description

This message occurs during IP Multipath session initialization, when an INIT packet with an unknown checksum type is received.

Corrective Action

The two end points are possibly running incompatible versions of Data ONTAP®. Run identical/compatible versions of Data ONTAP on the two end points and try again.

Syslog Message

Unknown checksum type (%d) in IP Multipath INIT packet.

The two end points are possibly running incompatible versions of Data ONTAP®. Run identical/compatible versions of Data ONTAP on the two end points and try again.
