Description

This message occurs when the system cannot correct duplicate dosnames present in a directory.

Corrective Action

From the NFS client, check the directory for file or subdirectory names like {}. Rename these, and then run (privilege diag) the "wafl dosname" node shell command on the directory.

Dosname repair failed for file ID: %d volume %s:%s.

Parameters

fileid (INT): Directory file ID where dosname repair failed.
vserver_uuid (STRING): Universal Unique ID (UUID) of the volume's Vserver.
volume (STRING): Volume name.
