Description

This message occurs when the enabling of the remote lock functionality is unsuccessful due to insufficient storage space.

Corrective Action

Run "lmgr enable_remote_lock <DSID> -multipart true" command from the diagnostic privilege level for enabling remote lock functionality manually.

Syslog Message

Remote lock functionality could not be enabled on volume '%s%s%s' (DSID %llu) due to insufficient storage space. Please consider freeing up some space and then attempt to enable it manually.

Parameters

vol (STRING): Name of the volume.
app (STRING): Application UUID.
volident (STRING): Unique identifier of the volume in cases where the volume name alone is insufficient.
volDsid (LONGINT): Data set identifier (DSID) of the volume.
