Get started with replacing the chassis of your AFF A400 system by shutting down the controllers, moving the hardware to the replacement chassis, and completing the system restoration.

OneShut down the controllers

Shut down the controllers to perform chassis maintenance safely.

TwoReplace the chassis

Move the fans, drives, and controller modules from the impaired chassis to the replacement chassis.

ThreeComplete the chassis replacement

Complete the replacement by verifying the HA state, switching back aggregates if needed, and returning the failed chassis to NetApp.
