Access is denied.

Description
This message occurs in two possible situations:
-
If you are not logged in as Administrator when accessing SMI-S Provider from the Start menu shortcut
-
If the SMI-S Provider directory is not pointing to
C:\Program Files (x86)\NetApp\smis\pegasus\bin

Corrective action
Complete the action that corresponds to the situation:

Log in with Administrator-level privileges and reopen SMI-S Provider from the Start menu, or right-click and select Run as administrator.

Log in with Administrator-level privileges and manually change the directory to
C:\Program Files (x86)\NetApp\smis\pegasus\bin
.
