When you run the storage create command in SnapDrive for UNIX, during the discovery stage, the discovery of some of the mapped devices is rejected and the command fails.
Workaround
For all devices to be accepted, edit the filter section of the /etc/lvm/lvm.conf file:
filter = [ "a/.*/" ]
