Add a Google Cloud NetApp Volumes system

Contributors netapp-sineadd

After you set up a service account, add a Google Cloud NetApp Volumes system in the NetApp Console so you can view your Google Cloud NetApp Volumes instances.

Cloud volumes for this subscription are displayed in the system.

Note If you have subscriptions and volumes in multiple Google Cloud projects, you need to perform this task for each project.
Before you begin

You must have the following information available when adding a subscription for each project:

  • Google service account email address

  • Project name

Steps
  1. From the NetApp Console menu, select Storage and then Management.

  2. On the Systems page, select Add System and select Google Cloud Platform.

  3. Next to Google Cloud NetApp Volumes, select Discover.

  4. Provide information about your NetApp Volumes subscription:

    1. Enter the system name you want to use.

    2. Paste the associated Google service account email address: credentials-sa@wf-production-netapp.iam.gserviceaccount.com.

    3. Select Apply credentials to retrieve the project name and region.

    4. From Project name, select the name of your Google Cloud project.

    5. From Region, select the region where you want to create the system. The region must be one of the supported regions for Google Cloud NetApp Volumes.

    6. Select Discover.
