Reset the fsxadmin password in BlueXP workload factory

Reset the fsxadmin password in BlueXP workload factory when necessary.

If you provided an alternate user during file system creation, you can only reset the fsxadmin password in the AWS console.

Steps

  1. Log in using one of the console experiences.

  2. In Storage, select Go to Storage inventory.

  3. In the FSx for ONTAP tab, select the three-dot menu of the file system to reset the fsxadmin password for and then select Manage.

  4. From the file system overview, select the three-dot menu.

  5. Select Reset fsxadmin password.

  6. In the Reset fsxadmin password dialog, enter a new fsxadmin password and re-enter it to confirm.

  7. Select Apply.
