SNMP用于监控交换机。以太网交换机运行状况监控器(CSHM)利用SNMP监控集群和存储交换机的运行状况和性能。默认情况下、SNMPv2c是通过参考配置文件(Reference Configuration File、RCF)自动配置的。
SNMPv3比SNMPv2更安全、因为它引入了身份验证、加密和消息完整性等强大的安全功能、可防止未经授权的访问、并确保数据在传输期间的机密性和完整性。
