UNIX용 SnapDrive는 일부 명령에 대한 호스트 엔터티의 구성을 자동으로 감지합니다. 일부 '스냅 스토리지' 명령은 호스트 엔터티의 이름만 있으면 됩니다. 이러한 경우에는 호스트 엔터티의 유형을 지정할 필요가 없습니다.

호스트 엔터티가 있으면 SnapDrive for UNIX가 자동으로 호스트 엔터티의 유형을 감지합니다. 이 경우 호스트 엔터티의 이름만 제공해야 하며 유형을 지정할 필요가 없습니다. SnapDrive 'Snap' 명령어와 일부 'Storage' 명령도 호스트 엔터티의 이름만을 필요로 하므로 유형을 지정할 필요가 없습니다.

SnapDrive 4.1 이상에서는 모든 스토리지 리소스의 세부 정보를 수집하므로 명령을 자동으로 검색하는 데 시간이 더 오래 걸립니다. 더 빠른 응답을 원할 경우 UNIX용 SnapDrive 명령을 사용하여 파일 사양을 지정합니다.
