EMERGENCY

Description

This message occurs when an automatic shutdown sequence has been initiated due to a degraded RAID group that cannot be reconstructed because there are not enough appropriate spare disks. The timeout period is specified by the "raid.timeout" option, which defaults to 24 hours.

Corrective Action

To recover from the shutdown, boot the system. Ensure that there are sufficient spare disks of the appropriate type so that the degraded RAID group can be reconstructed.
