The security key-manager delete-kmip-config
command permanently deletes the Key Management Interoperability Protocol (KMIP) server configuration from all nodes of the cluster.
The keys stored by the external KMIP servers cannot be deleted by Data ONTAP, and must be deleted by using external tools. |
Examples
The following example deletes the KMIP-server configuration from all nodes of the cluster:
cluster-1::*> security key-manager delete-kmip-config Warning: This command will permanently delete the KMIP-server configuration from all nodes of the cluster. Do you want to continue? {y|n}: y The KMIP-server configuration has been successfully deleted from all nodes of the cluster. The keys stored by the external KMIP servers cannot be deleted by Data ONTAP, and must be deleted by using external tools.
