Display partially connected initiators

Availability: This command is available to cluster administrators at the advanced privilege level.

Description

If upgrade proceeds with partially connected initiators, a host outage is likely. Each initiator should be connected to both nodes in each HA pair where the initiator is mapped to a LUN. This command displays connections that are missing and should be established before proceeding with an upgrade.

Parameters

[-fields <fieldname>,…]

If you specify the -fields <fieldname>, … parameter, the command output also includes the specified field or fields. You can use '-fields ?' to display the fields to specify.

| [-instance ] (privilege: advanced) }

If you specify the -instance parameter, the command displays detailed information about all fields.

[-vserver <Vserver Name>] - Vserver (privilege: advanced)

Selects the missing logins whose Vserver matches the specified value.

[-igroup <text>] - Igroup (privilege: advanced)

Selects the missing logins whose igroup matches the specified value.

[-initiator <text>] - Initiator (privilege: advanced)

Selects the missing logins whose initiator matches the specified value.

[-required-nodes {<nodename>|local}] - Required Nodes (privilege: advanced)

Selects the missing logins whose required-nodes matches the specified value. The initiator should be logged in to all required nodes.

[-missing-nodes {<nodename>|local}] - Missing Nodes (privilege: advanced)

Selects the missing logins whose missing-nodes matches the specified value. The initiator is not currently logged in to these nodes. If the initiator group is bound to a portset, the initiator needs to connect to a LIF in the portset on these nodes.

[-portset <text>] - Portset (privilege: advanced)

Selects the missing logins whose portset matches the specified value. If the initiator group is bound to a portset, the logins must be to LIFs in the portset.

[-refresh-login-cache <true>] - Force Refresh (privilege: advanced)

This command displays information based on a cache that is updated every 15 minutes. To force refresh the cache prior to displaying data, set this parameter to true.
