Restore Missing SVM-KEKs of a Barbican KMS
Availability: This command is available to cluster and Vserver administrators at the admin privilege level.
Description
This command retrieves and restores the top level SVM key encryption key associated with the given Vserver to each of the node's internal key tables. This command is not supported when Barbican configuration is not enabled for the Vserver.
Parameters
-vserver <Vserver Name>- Vserver-
This parameter specifies the Vserver to which the missing SVM Key encryption key will be restored.
Examples
The following command restores the missing SVM Key encryption key for the data vserver v1 (which has a Barbican configuration) to the internal key tables of each node in the cluster.
cluster-1::> security key-manager external barbican restore -vserver v1
