Create a Software iSCSI initiator
Availability: This command is available to cluster administrators at the advanced privilege level.
Description
The ` storage iswi initiator create ` creates a software iSCSI initiator. You need to specific the LIF to associate the initiator with.
Parameters
-node <nodename>- Node (privilege: advanced)-
This parameter used to specify the node in the cluster where iSCSI initiator should be created
-initiator-name <text>- Initiator Name (privilege: advanced)-
The user defined identifier to uniquely identify the initiator. The name can be alpha-numeric. (8 characters max)
-lif <text>- Logical Interface Name (privilege: advanced)-
The iscsi_initiator LIF to be associated with the initiator.
