Create an Object Store Server Group

Availability: This command is available to cluster and Vserver administrators at the admin privilege level.

Description

The vserver object-store-server group create command creates an object store group.

-vserver <Vserver Name> - Vserver Name: This parameter specifies the name of the Vserver on which to create the object store group. The Vserver must already exist.
-gid <integer> - Group ID: This parameter specifies a unique ID used to identify a particular object store group.
-name <TextNoCase> - Group Name: This parameter specifies the name of the object store group.
-users <TextNoCase>,… - List of Users Belonging to the Group: Use this parameter to specify the list of object store users who belong to the object store group.
[-policies <TextNoCase>,…] - List of Policies Attached to the Group: Use this parameter to specify the list of object store policies that are attached to the object store group.
[-comment <text>] - Group Description: This optional parameter specifies a text comment for the object store group.

The following example creates an object store group named user_group for Vserver vs1:

cluster1::> vserver object-store-server group create -vserver vs1 -name user_group -users user1,user2 -policies policy1,policy2 -comment "UserGroup1"
