Translate a Windows SID to a UNIX user ID
Availability: This command is available to cluster administrators at the advanced privilege level.
Description
The vserver services access-check authentication sid-to-uid
translates a Windows SID to a UNIX UID.
Parameters
[-node {<nodename>|local}]
- Node Name (privilege: advanced)-
The name of the node on which the command is executed.
-vserver <vserver>
- Vserver Name (privilege: advanced)-
The name of the Vserver.
-sid <text>
- Windows SID (privilege: advanced)-
The SID of a Windows user.
[-clientIp <IP Address>]
- Client IP Address (privilege: advanced)-
The IP address of the client as specified by the user
Examples
This example translates a Windows SID on node "node2" and returns the corresponding UNIX user's UID.
