This message occurs on ONTAP® systems for volume rehost operation when the destination storage virtual machine (SVM) does not comply with SAN best practices.

Verify SAN LIFs are present on the LUN-owning node and its high availability (HA) partner in the destination SVM. If needed, create a new SAN LIF on both the nodes by using the "network interface create" command and retry the operation.

Node "%s" for SVM "%s" does not comply with SAN best practices to create LUN maps. SAN LIFs in a SVM must be available on both nodes in an HA system to create a LUN map.

node_name (STRING): Name of the LUN owning node.
vserver_name (STRING): SVM name.
