To install and configure the software for a Cisco Nexus 3132Q-V switch and install or upgrade the Reference Configuration File (RCF), follow these steps:

OneConfigure the switch

Configure the 3132Q-V cluster switch.

TwoPrepare to install the NX-OS software and RCF

The Cisco NX-OS software and RCF must be installed on Cisco 3132Q-V cluster switches.

ThreeInstall or upgrade the NX-OS software

Download and install or upgrade the NX-OS software on the Cisco 3132Q-V cluster switch.

FourInstall the RCF

Install the RCF after setting up the Cisco 3132Q-V switch for the first time.

FiveVerify SSH configuration

Verify thats SSH is enabled on the switches to use the Ethernet Switch Health Monitor (CSHM) and log collection features.

SixReset the switch to factory defaults

Erase the 3132Q-V cluster switch settings.
