In NetApp Console local deployment, follow this workflow to monitor from broad to focused views: review the Home page dashboard, review predefined dashboards, create custom dashboards, and keep dashboards current.

Required access roles

All roles. Dashboards show only the resources you are authorized to view. If you do not see a resource in the list of available resources, you do not have permission to view it.

One Check baseline health on the Home page

Use the Home page dashboard to review organization-level capacity, alerts, performance, and data protection status.

Two Review other predefined dashboards

Open Storage > Dashboards to review predefined dashboards for additional role-specific views.

Three Build custom dashboards for focused monitoring

Create custom dashboards when you need targeted views for selected resources, metrics, and time windows.

Four Keep dashboards current

Update dashboards as priorities change by editing, duplicating, or deleting custom dashboards.
