Reconstruct a drive manually in SANtricity System Manager

Drive reconstruction normally starts automatically after you replace a drive. If drive reconstruction does not start automatically, you can start reconstruction manually.

Note

Perform this operation only when instructed to do so by technical support or the Recovery Guru.
Steps

  1. From the left panel, select menu:Hardware[Drives].

  2. Click the drive that you want to manually reconstruct.

    The drive's context menu appears.

  3. Select Reconstruct, and confirm that you want to perform the operation.
