Watch the progress of a job
Availability: This command is available to cluster and Vserver administrators at the admin privilege level.
Description
The job watch-progress
command displays the progress of a job, and periodically updates that display. You can specify the frequency of the updates.
Parameters
-id <integer>
- Job ID-
Use this parameter to specify the numeric ID of the job to monitor.
[-vserver <vserver name>]
- Owning Vserver-
Use this parameter to specify the name of the Vserver that owns the job.
[-interval <integer>]
- Refresh Interval (seconds)-
Use this parameter to specify the number of seconds between updates.
Examples
The following example show how to monitor the progress of the job that has ID 222
on Vserver vs0
. The progress display updates every 3 seconds.
cluster1::> job watch-progress -vserver vs0 -id 222 -interval 3
